November time with Manchester Fire Cadets
Since the last blog the cadets within Manchester based at S15 Wythenshawe and S16 Manchester Central Fire Stations have been very busy completing their BTEC workbooks and looking at ways the Cadet units can fund raise to go on Cadet camp during 2014. Within the last two months we have seen new cadets join both cadet units and they are very keen to learn all about the service and to learn new skills.. With November 5th only just around the corner the cadets have been busy passing on safety information to friends, family members and community members. This is a very busy time of year for the Fire Service and many incidents could be avoided through people being more careful, all the Fire Cadets in Greater Manchester want to encourage you all to visit www.safe4autumn.com but please remember to be safe and have a great Fireworks night from all at Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service
Don't forget!!!
To test your smoke alarms...... Remember 5th November 2013 for the right reasons :-)
